Formed in 1998, Brougham Hall Foods Ltd is a gourmet food and related products mail order company specialising in fresh, Artisan Cumbrian produce from small Farmers Market producers.

Think of us as an online farmer's market, where you can order the finest Cumbrian produce 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

We share our premises in Brougham Hall with The Old Smokehouse, a multi award winning smokehouse supplying smoked salmon, meat, game, poultry and fresh fish to the countries leading retailers such as Harvey Nichols and Fortnum & Mason.

With the growing discontent at the lack of quality British food in supermarkets, we decided to bring you the best in natural, seasonal, Cumbrian produce. We offer the finest selection of Farmers Market foods; and we will deliver the products that are sadly often hard to find, such as wild salmon, fresh game and equipment for making your own food products, direct to your door.

Small, traditional Artisan producers

Our foods come from Cumbrian producers whose philosophy is quality. They use artisan skills, age-old recipes and the finest fresh ingredients. They all understand food, understand seasons and understand freshness, and refuse to be dictated to by supermarkets. Many are multi award-winning producers who are fanatical about thier produce. Each of our producers is known to us personally, we have visited their kitchens, farms and production sites and we are proud to represent them.

Fast and convenient

All our food is prepared fresh to order, so it will arrive with you in the best possible condition. That means that it does take time to produce some items which is why we aim to deliver in 7 to 10 working days. They will be delivered quickly and efficiently by overnight courier in chilled boxes.
