This BBQ Charcoal is produced locally and helps support the woodlands and environment of Cumbria. It lights easily and heats up quickly allowing you to start cooking after only 15 minutes.

The charcoal is made from broadleaf tree wood, in sustainably managed, coppiced or thinned woodlands or prunings. Coppicing is a traditional form of woodland management where, after cutting the trees down to the ground, the stumps (stools) vigorously regrow new trees. The regrowth can then be harvested in a sustainable way. The coppice cycle is benefical to a wide range of wildlife.

You help to conserve these essential natural resources by buying this local product as well as encouraging beneificial management of our lovely woodlands. Transport fuel consumption is minimised and ecological biodiversity enhanced.

This charcoal is produced by a member of the Coppice Association - North West.
