"Richard Muirhead's tiny smokehouse in the grounds of Brougham Hall is a local treasure. Most of the ingredients come from within Cumbria. The smoked salmon is superb, some of the best I have tasted".

"Many thanks for the excellent course you ran for me on Saturday. The environment and the company were first class. Your enthusiasm and passion for what you do are infectious and are to be commended and I came away full of ideas. The food I smoked and took home was delicious and was enjoyed by all of us. Of your products that you let me try, the smoked salmon was particularly memorable and certainly amongst the best I have tasted. Keep up the good work!"
